Wipers

Stu | 2025-01-07 11:32 | 28 views

Hi… just got my Seal delivered yesterday, all good, except the wipers. Blades don’t seem to make proper contact with screen an leave big patches unwiped. I’ve cleaned the blades and problem is still there, also washer jets seem very low on the screen. Has anyone else experienced these issues and if so, did you manage to sort them yourself or did it need to go to the dealers ??? TIA

Absolutely same as me Looking at replacing with Bosch aero twin but shouldn’t need to on a car that’s only covered 1000miles Anyone found DAB Radio very poor in anything other than very strong signal area? Apparently BYD aware of this Things BYD need to address CPD NEEDS PERMANENT WAY OR TURNING OFF ALSO LANE DEPARTURE NEED SHORT CUT TO TURN OFF Why are NCAP so obsessed with nannying drivers I would like them to drive in Devon lanes with lane assist on I think the sales of underwear would go through the roof ! Meant to reply yesterday, I’ve sorted the issue myself, turns out it left the factory with two passenger blades fitted, found the drivers side blade in a box in the boot ???? How the hell it passed factory checks and PDI I’ll never know

Just checked my wipers are 2 different sizes so correct But still leave a line of unwiped .thought the screen was scratched but very vigorous rubbing sorted it

There were three sizes of blade with mine, small, medium and the one I fitted, large… hope you get sorted

I've just picked up a Seal and usually replace the wipers with Aerotwins as they've always been good blades, but I thought I'd ask first. Was it the A860S you tried?

Just for anyone finding this thread when looking for confirmation, the Bosch Aerotwin A860S blades fit perfectly and (as always with Bosch blades) are far better than the OEM ones.
