Dolphin - Wish List for BYD

Being a new Dolphin owner, while I like the car a lot (well, I bought one!), there are definitely some improvements I would love to see BYD incorporate as standard. So this is my Wish List. Perhaps some of these are actually available and I don't know about them yet! Perhaps some are available in other countries (I'm in Australia). Please feel free to add your wish list ideas. Dashcam as a standard feature . There is supposedly a BYD supplied dashcam system available. This is a standard fitting in some countries, and for the Dolphin apparently requires a micro-USB disk inserted in the standard slot. Once detected and the car s/w restarted, the dashcam s/w is loaded automatically. The BYD compatible camera is available (Amazon), it is cheap and is supposedly customer-installable. So the reality is BYD is 90% of the way to making it a standard feature. Wish List: actually make this a standard Dolphin/BYD feature. Voice options . My Australian Dolphin has only an American accented female voice, which grates after a while. For some reason there is an option to download (at cost?) a French voice, likely to speak in French. That's it! Would it not be possible to provide more options? What voices do they have for non-English countries? Could it be possible to customise your own voice options locally? TSR needs a different warning mechanism . TSR is a good idea that has been implemented really badly, as many owners attest. With the current s/w version, every apparent breach of "the last recognised" signed speed throws up severe warnings and loud noises that are dangerously distracting. Like others, I turn it off for every start (I use an infotainment shortcut for this), making for a much more safe and pleasant drive. But I recognise it is a useful safety feature. Wish List: Instead of noises, make it visual only. E.g. change the colour of the speedo digits from black to red. Or make them white on a red box. (My old Mazda did this - very handy.) So you can see there is a speed warning but you don't get distracted away from the speed display itself. Autos & Vehicles OK, enough with my first effort! I have a couple more yet to be written up. But over to others to comment.
