BYD Megawatt Flash Charge 2.0 Key Parameters (as of February 2026): Peak Charging Power: 2100 kW (2.1 MW) Charging Voltage: Up to 1500V (based on a full-domain kilovolt high-voltage architecture upgrade) Charging Current: Up to 1500A Charging Speed: First Generation (1000kW): 5 minutes ≈ 400km range Second Generation (2100kW): 5 minutes can replenish over 800km (theoretical value, depending on vehicle battery capacity and condition) Just excited about the ability to charge an EV at the same speed as filling with petrol! Let’s see what models come out with this capability, most likely dual charge ported vehicles. New stations are purportedly already in the works.
