What car/model is that?
It is an LFP battery, as I understand it a 'short blade' prismatic style. Even LFP can go up in extreme situations. Still, it is relatively rare.

What is? That's s Tesla in the video.
Is it? I can't recognize anything to make me think it's a Tesla. From the side it looks a bit like a Seal, but the front and back don't look quite like that so it's not a Seal either. Edit: I think it's a DongFeng Yipai 007. It has an LFP battery as well btw.
It doesn't look like a Tesla to me. The front grill and the back lights don't fit. But I can't figure out what it is either... Edit: looks like a DongFeng Yipai 007!
Not a tesla. Dongfeng 007.
You have to be either super silly, blind or a massive troll to say that’s a Tesla. No one would ever confuse a Tesla with this car lol. Also Tesla’s have some of the best battery safety standards. It’s nearly impossible for a battery to set on fire like that.
This is why i keep a seatbelt cutter / window breaker tool in any car I own.
It’s this car [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dongfeng\_e%CF%80\_007](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dongfeng_e%CF%80_007) https://preview.redd.it/xka1bkquxuhg1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c904ca298444e7be23018874f1b4ced281090b8 Batteries used: 28.39 kWh LFP CALB 28.39 kWh LFP Sunwoda 35.03 kWh LFP Sunwoda 56.83 kWh LFP Sunwoda 70.26 kWh LFP Sunwoda 73.5 kWh LFP Sunwoda
BYDs come with them as standard.
Sunwoda was part of the Volvo issue recently, these guys and LG really giving the battery industry a bad name
I didn’t hear about the lg issue. Would you mind sharing?:)
Any idea where I’d find it?
Not the Seal!
Underneath middle armrest
Blade is safety oriented and so much safer. BYD did use older less safe bucket batteries (I think that's what they were called?) in the past before their blade design was complete and we've all seen the videos. As their technologies improve it's good to know they focused on safety with the blade.

LG batteries had big issues in the early GM EVs. Really hurt people’s confidence in EVs
