BYD Tang 2025 EU Problems

I want to replace my 2023 Skoda Enyaq with a 2025 BYD Tang, because Skoda can't fix a problem with the AC charging that started over a year ago after installing an update. Are there any common problems with the EU spec 2025 Tang that I need to take a closer look at? I read about issues at DC chargers, is the 2025 model also affected or was this only a problem for pre facelift cars? Thank you!

Hi, I own the 2024 Facelift Tang. The car is solid, driving is fun. DC and range are really bad in winter. (30-80 kw/h, 195km range). In my opinion the biggest issue is that the Tang is not getting softwareupdates like all the other models (even the older ones) so there is no browser, no byd app store, no turning of daylights when on, no advanced consumption display, no smart drive over 120km/h, and the list goes on. I bought the car when it was € 72.000.- and was told ther will be plenty of updates improvements but nothing. I regret the purchase. Now its € 61.000.- for a new Tang. So for this price its OK.

Ist this the 108 kWh battery? The consumption must bei horrible then! How about the summer range? I was offered 52.000€ for a brand new 2025 Flagship model and I'm about to test drive it next monday. So I will check on the consumption and the software version. But if theres any sign of a consumption that high it won't be the Tang for me.

I'd probably go closer to a Sealion7 rather tan a Tang... Specially for the price, the weigh of the Tang.

The Trunk of the Sealion 7 is unfortunately to small for my needs, I need to fit a box for our dog and a stroller and some baggage.

I have no issues with charging. My only issue is with the phantom power drain. Every night I lose around 3% of SOC. I need to get it to the dealer and leave it there for a day so they can identify the issue. Besides that it's an amazing car.

The new tang L sold as Sealion 8 or Atto 8 is v soon going to launch in Europe (already has in other markets, it's much better with the updated latest DMi 5 drive train with newer tech LFP evo battery. Suggest you get that

Are there any informations on the price?  I guess DMi means the hybrid Version, right? For me EV is the only valid option.
