Let me clarify this... it means that the "blind spot/cross traffic warning" feature is activated. In other words, when someone approaches a point where you (the driver) cannot see your car, it will beep and flash its hazard lights externally.
Actually, there must be something wrong. I’m stopped now in the middle of nowhere and the symbol doesn’t disappear. In fact, the symbol never disappears. I bought the car today, do you have any idea why?

Doesn't it mean blind spot warning is active. As in, ready to detect. If someone is in that blind spot it turns yellow or red?

It’s not an up arrow, really it’s a warning triangle :)
Not sure what model you have but mine has buttons in the center in front lf the gear selector to turn it on / off. Learn those buttons
