GAC Aion UT Price Leaked: How It Stacks Up Against BYD Dolphin, MG4 and GWM Ora
Thoughts on how the GAC Aion UT will sell at a starting price of $31,990 plus ORC?

Much larger battery but still same claimed range as the dolphin? Does the larger motor make that much difference?
Sorry there is an error. Dolphin Essential is 340 km WLTP. Will correct in article.
GAC and UT sound kinda like medical conditions, which may deter some buyers. Car itself seems ok though. Edit: is the connected satnav included for an indefinite period? Can always use phone but that's a handy feature of Teslas....
You've got to wonder about the naming conventions. To be fair both Zeekr and zecar sound like zika (virus) but both are popular!
Curious to see how it compares to the Geely EX2 released later this year in terms of price.
If they do that as a drive away deal it could be compelling.
In China they’re branded as Aion. Not sure why they didn’t do the same here.
They should hurry up and release it - the market is heating up.
The full name is GAC Aion in China as well. Previous GAC petrol car brand is somewhat dying now, and other brands are just joint ventures with Honda/Toyota. So Aion is the only promising offspring, and marketing dept might felt the need to stress this heritage.
Tesla doesn’t support CarPlay or Android Auto. Most people happily use nav from that and never look at the factory satnav if they don’t need too.
But aion is the badge on the actual car.
GAC sounds like choking, but I couldn't care less if it is a good car and price.
I wonder if Geely will price the EX2 to undercut the BYD Atto 1, or at least match the Atto 1 price.
How will the leapmotor b05 stack up? Any news on that one? Also the ev finder looks to be broken on chrome and edge =(
How is it broken? Can you send me the link you're using?
