this is roughly the landscape: • Lithium iron phosphate (LFP): ~150–180 Wh/kg • Tesla 4680 lithium cells: ~270–296 Wh/kg • NIO semi-solid-state pack: ~261 Wh/kg • MG semi-solid battery: ~180 Wh/kg • Next-gen solid-state prototypes: ~350–600 Wh/kg (still mostly in development) Xiomi has a patten for a 700wh/kg battery. Missed SIB and LMR. Also the usual quoted target for SSB is ~800Wh/kg — what you're calling "next-gen" SSB.

Current Mg4 51 is 145–169 Wh/km (combined WLTP). Interesting how the Solid state isn’t much more efficient compared to their existing battery, and quite a lot less than the competition
