White vs Black interior - Atto 2 DM-i

Hey everyone, I’m about to order a BYD Atto 2 DM-i with the Time Grey exterior, and I’m really torn between the white interior and the black interior. I’ve seen both in real life and honestly I like both, but I slightly prefer the white interior — it looks more modern and makes the cabin feel brighter and more premium IMO. That said… I’m a bit worried about how hard it’ll be to keep clean long-term. For those who own a BYD (or any car) with a light/white interior: • Is it a nightmare to maintain, or totally manageable? • Do you regret going light, or still happy with it? And for black interior owners — any downsides apart from it getting hotter / feeling darker? Would love to hear real ownership experiences before I lock in my choice. Thanks! 🙏

I have it in White . It's more beautiful than the boring black but you have to clean it from time to time.

I've got a SL7 black leather with ventilated seats. It was a very hot day today in Australia and it was fine. I love the remote AC and it worked a treat. Check your car model to see if it has it. From google, the ventilated seats are in the “premium” model. We didn't get a choice in Australia so it was just black seats.

Exactly it looks more exciting to be honest. You think cleaning it would be a difficult task or should be easy since it’s leather?

the atto 2 dmi does not come with ventilated seats unfortunately, only heated ones.

Hmm, I'm surprised. But I believe the remote AC cooling would be more than enough. If you can wait an extra minute or 2 the car would be a lot cooler. We had 32-35 degrees Celsius when I had the car parked outside for reference.

Got the atto 2 in time gray with the black interior… Didn’t like the two tone interior with white and personally, I wouldn’t buy a bright interior… cleaning services charge you more. Black is way more thankful than white… but no one can make the choice for you. 😉
