Atto 3 rear phone charger not working

OzBestDeal | 2025-12-14 06:33 | 39 views

This issue only happened on both rear seat phone charger (usb-c and usb-a inhibit same issue). Phone detected that it is plugged in, at a glance it looks like charging, however no amperage flowing. You can see there's a lightning symbol near the battery percentage on screenshot, but no charge flowing. No issue with front seat charger and wireless charger. I tried to restart the console, and unplug/re-plug 12v battery, but issue persists. Is there a quick solution to this or is it need service center fix? Doesn't looks like a common issue at all.

check the fuse.

That's what I thought before, but if fuse is blown, wouldn't the charger completely not responding?

In this case, I think it’s important to visit the BYD service center, because it may need a software update or the charger may not be working properly. As for the fuse, I don’t think that’s the issue, because if it were blown, the lighting wouldn’t work either.

Thanks, I will contact service centre

tried different cables? might be worth picking up a usb charger meter/tester. they are super handy resolving charging issues and aren't expensive.
