Is the Atto 3 worth it?

Upper-Cockroach-2078 | 2025-12-05 21:18 | 43 views

Took the Atto 3 for a test drive today and was seriously impressed. Saw somewhere that there is a new model coming in 2026. Does anyone have details? Also, any Atto 3 owners - would love to get your feedback. Are you happy with it?

Unsure what the new Atto 3 will be, but for what it's worth I test drove the Atto 3 a couple months ago and loved it

I've had mine for almost 2 years now and love it. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Depends on if you think waiting for a newer model or a different model, I have owned mine for a year already and no problems so far. I would wish just a tad bit larger battery for longer trips but I usually just drive around city averaging between 320km-390km so not a deal breaker. I think newer model has a bigger cluster screen which might be easier to see battery/speed/ etc.

I have 2022 atto, still love it. Do you or others need new as used is still great

I just did my 2 year service. No issues. They replaced the gear selector, apparently there was a recall because the letters were wearing out for some. Mine were fine. I still like it a lot, the software after 4 updates is quite refined, assistants systems are not annoying, I enjoy driving it is super comfy and pretty quick. After 2 years everything still feels solid, no creaks no rattles. I like the design and the size of their new Atto2 more, so if it had a bigger battery at least 60kWh I would pick atto2 in the mist grey colour, which is a bit greenish. The upcoming version of atto 3 will be RWD and have more power 230kW, and a bit bigger battery 74kWh. But as I understand it they are only going to launch in China next year, and there is usually a year delay before we get it, so not sure when it is going to land here.

I've had mine for 4 months. I love it.. I love it so much that I've started driving with Uber just to drive it more. Nearly every passenger raves about its comfort, smoothness and style. I'm sure I'd also be happy with other models or the updated model, but I'm not left wanting anything at all, especially considering the price.

Had mine for over a year 45,000km and it’s been great, however I would wait for the 2026 version as it’s getting faster charging Edit: added correct mileage

Not anymore if you believe the electric viking...others have arrived at a better price and better all round..it's gonna happen though in this segment

SexyDraenei 2025-12-06 04:09

2024 model here...had a year and a bit and it still makes me smile when I overtake trucks on the highway. Great car no complaints.

HieronymusLudo7 2025-12-06 05:59

Driving an Atto3 over a year now, absolutely love it.

It's a great car overall. And all the point here I agree with, especially at the price point. Have the 2023 long range version. I only have 4 complaints: 1) is that the rear boot space is really limited 2) for a car of its size the interior doesn't feel very big because the trim and the overall design kinda 'sticks/intrudes' into the space 3) front seats, specifically how the head rest is designed, and not adjustable, makes sitting or driving over distance uncomfortable. 4) needs to have the directions pop up on the spedo display in the car, or at minimum needs a HUD offering at its price point. If they redesigned the interior and seats a bit to make it more spacious and comfortable it would be perfect. I could live without a HUD

Have you considered Atto 2 instead Atto 3? What are you looking in Atto 3 that Atto 2 doesn’t offer?

Upper-Cockroach-2078 2025-12-06 09:13

Sorry I am a bit useless - didnt even know there is an Atto 2. Is it full EV or hybrid?

CrunchingTackle3000 2025-12-06 11:40

3 years. My Atto has been fantastic.

Historical_Being3937 2025-12-06 15:12

I prefer the little height atto2 offers compared to the atto 3. But it is a never ending kind of thing like your phone/gadgets. I chose atto2 because of the interior and the height and space. Atto3 for me is a little squeezy behind and the front interior design is a bit too futuristic for me. So atto 2 is my final decision. But if you like atto3, go for it.

AsianBobaGod 2025-12-06 16:35

It’s fully electric as well

TrueCompetition6694 2025-12-06 20:16

I own the Atto2. In short, best built and most trouble free I have ever owned.

ninjitsu101 2025-12-06 23:51

They removed the buttons from the centre console?

[deleted] 2025-12-07 01:24

Had my Atto3 for 2 years, done 45k miles - it is a brilliant car. Very enjoyable to own and drive.

Opposite_Penalty_676 2025-12-07 01:51

Wonderful to drive around town but if I had one complaint it would be the slow windscreen wipers, even on its highest speed. In torrential rain, it definitely shows as we can't see anything. I've driven bmw and Benz in the past and this wasn't even an issue. Someone else on Reddit suggested we spray rain repellant on it but haven't got around to it yet.

4 months in, 2025 model with the LFP 12V auxiliary battery. I love it so much, getting 12-13 kWh /100km in city, 15-18kWh/100km highway. Continental EcoContact 6 Q 235/50 R18s stock.

Working_Presence8606 2025-12-07 17:44

Recently got the atto 3 2025 it has everything you need, if you are looking for a unique interior, touch screen friendly or like to have some buttons handy both are available, nice spacious car, yeah trunk can be better but haven’t fully tested it with suitcases yet but can’t complain best EV suv available at this price range can’t complain

potatodos 2025-12-07 19:04

All the buttons are still there, they just rearranged them, and removed the gear stick and switched to a paddle behind the steering wheel. You can find other videos on youtube.

Upper-Cockroach-2078 2025-12-07 20:37

I fell in love with the drive quality. Had a constant smile on my face.

raph_84 2025-12-07 23:26

Had one for six months and despite being mostly satisfied, I wouldn't recommend it, all things considered. - Charging was way too slow - Consumption was way too high (going 120+ on the Autobahn) - ACC was okay but too quick to brake and a bit jerky at times - Lane Keeping / auto steering (and ACC?) only workes up to 120 kph - the pleather wasn't all that great - it started developing gremlins (squeaky steering) by the end of the first six months Now if you mostly use it within its range so you don't have to fast charge often, pay little for electricity and/or live somewhere where you usually wouldn't drive faster than 100-120, it may be decent. Value for money is also right I believe. But when it came to getring a new (company) car, I didn't consider it anymore.

blackpawed 2025-12-08 01:38

It does look good, but there hardly been time for a history of issues to develop :)
