Atto 3 airconditioning

My wife has an Atto 3 for about two years now. Very happy with it, almost no issues, uses it to cruise around from patient to patient. Since, we think, the latest update, her airco regulation is off. For example: it’s 10°C outside. We set the temperature to 19°C. The system starts to heat the car very aggressively to wha feels like 28°C. When we set it to 18°C, it actually starts cooling the car to the outside temperature. There seems to be no in between, no ‘just a liiiitle bit more’ and no subtlety. The car is on the latest firmware AFAIK. Dealer says they can’t do anything about it. Does anyone else here have a similar experience?

"Dealer says they can’t do anything about it."  WTF, that's ridiculous!!!  They need to lodge that along with diagnostics to BYD for advice if they don't know how to fix it.

After the latest update the AC hasn't been great. In your case it should help if you change the AC setting from Comfort to Eco, as it sounds like it's set to Comfort at the moment. For some reason the Comfort setting is currently way too aggressive with heating so it really only works when it gets below 0 degrees outside

Ah, going to try this!

Agreed. I think the dealership isn’t really up to more than just sales.

This actually works. The intensiveness of the system is much more comfortable. Thanks!
