BYD Atto 3 AC not cooling well - compressor issue?

Vehicle: BYD Atto 3 Symptom: Cabin cooling is weak at low speed, slightly better at highway speed. Checked: Refrigerant pressure seems normal, blower is working. Question: Should I first inspect the electric compressor control signal and HV protection logic?
