BYD Atto 3 - no cruise control or lane assist post-repair?

RacketyCobra | 2025-11-07 22:13 | 30 views

Hi all, My car was hit a couple of months back and after repairing, my cruise control and lane assist no longer work - the cruise control button on the wheel doesn't do anything and both cruise control and lane assist icons aren't visible on the HUD anymore. Have tried to reset the infotainment system via the volume button but that didn't update the screen or help. Additionally, I think the BYD Atto 3 (from memory) has the cruise control and/or lane assist options in settings, but nothing exists there to help either? Sorry for the essay - but any advice would be awesome! :)

The repairer has not done ADAS calibration after the repairs it sounds like.

Just gave them a call - they said they did that and they're saying there was a previous error in the system but are unsure why cruise control and lane assist worked in the first place and to call BYD service. So frustrating:(

BYD are going to have to fix it. Complain to your insurance company until they organise it, or at least pay for it.

What about to contact service center / dealer? In case of repair they are supposed to handle such a problems (e.g. they did a mistake during repair, etc.).

Contact insurance. Your initial claim is not fully resolved

Have you tried a disconnect and reconnect of the 12v battery? I had similar symptoms on my dolphin after smash repair and this fixed it.

Ooh no I haven't! Any advice how to do that?
