Digital Key on Atto 3

Your app should have the option but it only works on compatible phones with encrypted NFC. Unless UK/Australia app by default hides the option if the phone isn't compatible. I had a phone without encrypted NFC and couldn't pair it to the digital key but the option was always there for my atto 2.

Is there a list with these phones? I mean i have the samsung s23 ultra.

My car said to check the list for compatible phones in the user's manual when I couldn't pair it because I had a series A samsung at the time but I didn't bother, so try both the printed and digital manual to see if your phone is there or check the list from byd in your country to see if it's available, because byd updates the list per region not globally. It can also be that your atto 3 needs to update it's software, that was common for the 2023 models.

I read somewhere the 2025 atto3 just rolled out digital key on ios/ apple car key but my 2023 atto3 still no digital key came up on my iPhone 17

If your Atto 3 is before the 2024 refresh with the 15.7 inch screen, ie your car has a 12.1 inch screen you are out of luck. Not compatible with digital key.

Mine is pre 2024 Atto3 design with 15.6” so does this mean is not compatible?

Yes. From what I have heard the electronics do not support the encryption standards required for smart key. Those standards were defined industry wide and with the support of Apple and Google.

The phone app recently updated to allow the use of smart watches which have similar access function to the phone app. I can start the AC, unlock, lock etc. If you have a smart watch it may be an alternative.

What a disappointment. I don’t see any difference . Oh well

I checked and its inside. Idk why it doesnt show the tile on the Mobile App
