BYD Atto 3 Software Update 2026/02

I've updated mine to 2511 but im seriously considering going back to 2503 as you can't have any widgets on the screen other than the ones at the bottom of the screen, so yeah, 80% of wasted space.

2503 was the last usable update. The new UI is garbage.

I felt like even the camera angle of the mirrors changed when i updated it to 2511.

Mine updated last week and I haven't noticed any differences yet

My Infotainment Software was updated at the 40k service yesterday. (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia). It kept my sideloaded apps, which was great ! The UI change was the first thing I've noticed; some good, some not. Missing Up top: Incline/Angle indicator, Inside/Outside air quality number. You can now tap on each icon at the top of the screen to go directly to the adjustment/check section. The bottom has totally changed, and overlays some of the bottom of the screen when in some views. ( Waze in particular for me) You can customise some of the icons, move them left & right and swap or delete some of the air/heater controls, which are visible all the time. I already miss the fan speed control , tap and up /down. But the tap < > icons now do adjust temp & fan speed. The camera view has definitely changed. They all seem expanded and a bit more fisheye. I can now see parts of the bumper (front) and my number plate (rear), which is very distracting. The 3d View does seem to have improved a result though ! I feel that the headlight height have been adjusted down further than previous, and there's only 1 step upwards that I can go from the current setting. I'm sure that I had them set higher and could adjust them more, in the previous version. Audio system (EQ, balance, Room) seems to have reset and tone changed, I'm still struggling to get it back to a good setting. :-(

How do you go back?

Quite simple tbh. Just factory reset it, then plug a usb drive on the car with the older firmware version in a folder structure like bydauto/ms22/updatefull.zip (just an example) I'd highly recommend looking into youtube, there's plenty of tutorials. If you also google for the firmware there should be a wiki that contains all versions.

What version is being stated?

Updates have been a disaster, I downgraded it to 2503 after this mess.

Hello, I live in Thailand. Where can I find the update, or where it indicates the version I have on my Atto 3 Extended?

The update that's needed and will never come is the ability to configure cruise control while maintaining constant fuel consumption, not speed.

Would you mind confirming version and build numbers please?

I would like the update file.
