I don't want to open the car, sit and press the brake, go to settings, find the Disable function, and then run to the charge port to unplug.
Isn't this the same in all BYD cars?

Do you mean the feature where you need to unlock the car twice to unplug if the car is still charging?

Yes, if you use your phone or band to unlock the car, or if you send your kids to do it for you.

Atto 3 -
Unlock the car and everything is unlocked, including the charge port.
If you do not open the drivers door, everything re-locks after a while. I didn’t time it - I’d guess 1 minute - but if you just want to unplug - unlock, remove the plug, close the hatch, done.

Just press the door unlock button on your key fob, you can then pull the charger cable out

It says it's disabled, but once you plug in you can't take it out

I can take the plug out any time unless the plug is energised and power is flowing. In that instance removing the plug would likely cause arcing.

You may want to take a look at the “intelligent” (should really just have called it smart) option. I’m assuming we have the same OS since you didn’t specify

I'm a little confused. You'll never be able to remove the plug if it's actively charging as it's a safety feature to make sure no high voltage arcing occurs. You're disabiling a safety feature which is why it re activates after a short period.
To remove the plug you don't need to get into your car, you just unlock the car with remote or button on door or however you normally unlock your car, wait a second or two for the charging to come to a complete stop and then pull the charger plug out.
Why do you want the charging port immobilizer system disabled to begin with?

Then what's the point of having this feature in the menu? Either it's enabled permanently or disabled permanently, not an in-between yes but only for 10 seconds.
The ground pin in the CCS connector is shorter than the others so as soon as you start unplugging the power is cut.

Good question. They should just remove that feature in the menu.

And if it is still charging, you unlock it a second time. This is written on the charge port door of my BYD.
