Can the footrest / dead pedal be removed? I find it really annoying and it eats up the space where I'd like to put my foot.
If they put it in, it can be taken out.

That's right. As in, where my foot needs to go it can't because there's a large foot rest there. Simply removing it would be perfect for me as the end of the foot area is a fine foot rest for me. The cars were not designed for tall people I assume, and I'm coming from an "armchair" style seat in a large sedan so I'm used to a very different driving position.
Not necessarily. It could be part of the moulded floor for all I know.
Might be, you didn't give a pic and I don't own your model to know explicitly. Is it under the carpet? Regardless, it can be taken out, just depends what you're willing to do to make that happen.
I don't own one yet, hence trying to find someone who does and who knows if it can be taken out. Can't really pull the carpet up in a test drive car to check. Guess I could go to the wreckers and look at a wrecked one...
Oh right, gotcha 👍 Surely not the worst thing someone's done to a test drive car 😂
